I hope you're all enjoying a nice non-humid memorial day! It is currently 90 degrees with 70% humidity and it's only 11 in the morning, and it's only May. So that's fun. We're already starting to melt and go through our closets and get rid of all the things that are anywhere close to warm.
In the spirit of summer, we went on a field trip to the beach this week. A less active member took us down the bayou to see someone who lives far away. She told us that we weren't far from the beach, so she took us down to Grand Isle, which is the end of Louisiana basically. It was so beautiful! In other random happenings, we learned how to be dog groomers. Oh the things you learn on a mission. I also got to be the primary pianist on Sunday, which is my favorite thing to do in the whole church. One of my not so favorite things is translating. We have to translate during Sacrament meeting every week and it's so stressful! I can translate when it's a conversation between two people because they pause and let you translate, but in Sacrament meeting people talk a million miles an hour. When I get behind, or if I don't know the words they're saying, I just start bearing my testimony about whatever the speaker is talking about. :)
